Reservations & Availability

How do I book, and how far in advance should I reserve?

Email info@koetshuiskronenburg.be. The earlier the better, but we’re happy to help with last-minute plans when possible.

When is the venue available?

We’re open to the public on Thursdays from 17:00. Outside those hours, the space is available for private hire.

Will staff be present during my event?

You can rent the venue with or without staff. We can provide reception, service staff, bar team, and support for music, photo, or video.

Catering, Drinks & Kitchen

Do you offer catering, and can I bring my own food or drinks?

Yes — we can propose menus or build something together. External caterers and your own drinks are welcome. (Bringing your own may affect the rental fee / minimums; we confirm this per event.)

Is there a food & drink minimum?

Minimums can apply depending on the type of event. We’ll align this with you before confirming.

What kitchen facilities are available, and can I rent extra equipment?

The kitchen includes oven, induction, cooling, dishwasher, and a standard set of utensils (knives, spatulas, pots, pans…). Extra equipment can be arranged on request. You can book the kitchen together with the event space or on its own.

Workshops, tastings, demos — how many people fit?

Perfect for tastings, private dining, demos or classes. Around 12 guests works comfortably in the kitchen itself.

Guidelines & hygiene standards for chefs / caterers

Our kitchen runs on professional standards (HACCP). We’ll share the practical info with your chef or caterer in advance so everyone’s aligned.

Can food trucks or mobile kitchens be used?

No — external food trucks / mobile kitchens aren’t supported at the venue.

Bar & Technical

Is there a bar, and can you provide equipment and staff?

Yes — we have a bar with fridges, coffee machine, and glassware. We can also support staffing and service, and draft/tap setups are possible on request.

What AV equipment is available? Is there Wi-Fi?

Yes to Wi-Fi. We have a projector (HDMI), a Samsung screen, and a Sonos music setup. DJ booth is available on request.

Capacity, Timings & Rules

How many people can we host, and what about timings/noise?

Up to 50 guests standing, 32 seated for dinner, or 16 for workshop/meeting style. Standard end time is 23:00; later is possible with an additional fee. Sound level is capped (±80 dB). Setup/breakdown windows are planned with you.

Cleaning, Access & Parking

Cleaning, waste sorting, accessibility, and parking

Standard cleaning is included in venue rental (kitchen deep-clean is separate). Please sort waste. The venue is wheelchair accessible and has emergency exit + first-aid kit.

Parking: Q-Park Kooldok (Waalsekaai 1A).
Public transport: ±22 min from Central Station by tram (4/9/15/10/20/32), ±10 min from Station Zuid by tram (1/4/10).
Taxis, suppliers and load-in are possible directly at the location.
